 +//**CLCi database access**//\\
+The Cathedral Libraries Catalogue provides a record of books printed before 1701 in the libraries of Anglican Cathedrals of England and Wales. Work on the Catalogue started in 1943, leading eventually to publication by the Bibliographical Society and the British Library in 1984 (English books) and 1998 (continental books). The MARC records for the continental books were added to the CERL HPB database in 2001.
 +
+CERL has now created a separate database for these Cathedral Libraries Catalogue records in order to give the individual cathedral libraries access to them. This database is called CLCi (Cathedral Libraries Catalogue on the Internet). It provides searching by name/title/imprint/date/language/ cathedral and has a facility for downloading records in MARC format. For more information please see [[http://www.bibsoc.org.uk/cathlibs/]].
 +
+Logins to the CLCi database are available at a cost of £90.00 providing full access with no time limit. To obtain a login and password, please apply to CERL’s Executive Manager at <Marian.Lefferts@cerl.org>.
